Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
4.0
As a years-long fan of the Miyazaki film, I was surprised to learn that there was a book that inspired it. The novel was charming and sweet, and some of the plot was extremely clever.
In the end, though, much of the plot was left unexplained, and I felt the characters and romance were more deepened and sympathetic in the film.
A great choice for anyone looking for a quick, feel-good read.
