Into the Dark by Karen Rose

5.0

Into the Dark is a book that is full of heartbreaking, heart-pounding and heartwarming moments. A compelling mystery that goes into interesting directions.

It's finally Dani and Diesel Time !!
This book has been long-awaited as we have seen Diesel pine for Dani in the previous Cincinnati books, and we all know that they would be perfect together.

One of my favourite elements of Karen Roses books is that she highlights different issues. This book focuses on a deaf victim and shines spotlight things that we don't think about. Example our having to have a translator for personal or legal conversation. Or having alarms that light up as you wouldn't hear the noise of an alarm.

Regarding the case, there two different stands going along Micheal, Dani and Diesel story. It was interesting to see how they were connected and how they were weaved into the story.

Another favourite element of Into the dark is that Dani and Diesel aren't perfect they make mistakes, and they have their own issues. But they try their best to do the right thing and to help people.

Karen Rose is the master of creating addictive reads. I read Into the dark in one day as I was so engrossed. I happily put on my headphones, so I could ignore the rest of the world and dive into Dani and Diesel story.

Also, the Cincinnati gang for me will be now known as the marshmallow gang.

Shout out to the Marvel character name for the dogs. Especially that Dani dogs is called Hawkeye.

Into the Dark is perfect for crime fans that like romance with there mystery, and a story that pulls on your heartstrings.

My Rating for Into the Dark is 5 out of 5.
