This made my heart so happy! When Georgie takes a position as an earl's secretary, he plans to swindle Lawrence just as he's swindled every other rich peer he's come across. Lawrence, who conducts experiments in his crumbling castle and avoids humanity, wants nothing to do with his new secretary or his son for that matter.
But of course they're both quite attracted to one another despite being opposites and Georgie convinces Lawrence to have his son Simon come for Christmas. They seem on the verge of becoming a family when Georgie decides he must flee to London to settle affairs with his old crime boss before he hunts him down.
