well, baltasar definitely reeled me in as always, but this is the first time i have no idea what she was trying to say. this book was a little too gritty and graphic for me and my brain. i think miss main character actually wanted to be an animal….also, be warned, lots of body horror, and some legitimate animal cruelty (to poor, unassuming cats)…left this one feeling quite disturbed. :/
