4 ⭐️ This book redeemed this series for me. Heartless Hunter felt like I was reading the random steam of consciousness of Rune and Gideon and I felt like their romance made zero sense. Rebel Witch started off with more of the same before finally settling into an entertaining storyline and FINALLY I felt like Rune and Gideon really did belong together. I’m glad I decided to pick the one up despite not loving the first in the series.
