Revisiting this for the 3rd time, and it's still one of my all-time favorites. Be warned: this book is VERY dry (personally I am a huge fan of that style, and find that it enhances not only the historical feel but also the very English humor as well as the horror elements). One of the greatest fantasies of the 21st century--I am sure to return to it again.
