Oh, Haymitch. I’m so sorry for all you’ve lost. What a gift Suzanne Collins has given us and continues to give us with her writing. This book cheekily includes propaganda that parallels propaganda I’ve seen lately, and it is compelling. This book is intoxicating and sucks you in, leaving you aching for just one more chapter - at the end of every chapter. I’ll be delighted and horrified to see this movie when it’s released in theaters.
