“And in their corner all they had was Murderbot, who just wanted everyone to shut up and leave it alone so it could watch the entertainment feed all day.”

All Systems Red was quite an easy read for me. I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy it because I haven’t read a lot of science fiction, but luckily I did. It was humorous with just the right amount of action.

I enjoyed Murderbot’s character and I think its thoughts were funny. I found myself relating to it with a lot of things like its social anxiety and just wanting to binge watch its shows. I didn’t really feel any attachment towards the humans but I did appreciate that they treated Murderbot as one of them and not something that’s easily replaceable. I’m so happy for this android and his little found family.
