The Spy and I is a cute read about a hacker who is mistaken for her CIA sister and she gets involved in a case to help clear her sister’s name. She partners up with Mendez and they start to fall for each other while trying to stay alive.

I actually read the second book in this series first, Mr. Nice Spy and I thought it was really cute. I decided to give this book a try too. I enjoyed the second book better. I felt the FMC was childish and a little annoying. She’s 27 but doesn’t act that age. She and CIA agent Mendez fall for each other while working the case, but they barely know each other. The romance seemed rushed and I hate cut aways for bedroom scenes. Very annoying although I was prepared for that since the other book was the same. I found this book to be a cute light-hearted read if you need a palate cleanser.
