usually i have fun reading an unexpected pregnancy trope but the romance between the mc’s felt lacking. also, the writing at times felt immature. i didn’t quite understand why jude chose to keep his issues with his family a secret from lia, especially at the bar scene. the first book and even the second at times hinted at the close bond lia had with her best friend finn, yet he was hardly mentioned in this book and i would’ve liked to see more from him, even though he was busy with residency and in a relationship of his own.
however, found family is my favorite trope and i like the wards sibling dynamic a lot so it made for a pretty enjoyable read.
