This book has been with me for a long time now. Teaching it to a high school class was challenging but no one can protest once they get a taste of the first 20 pages of writing. This book is descriptive, flowing with beautiful language, and close to the heart. Characters come to life, breathe and have independent thoughts and feelings making this a wonderful classic from Nigeria.
