I have not read the first book in this series but after reading this book I wouldn't mind reading the first book. The main leads, Hunter and Tracy were good. Although, I do have to say that someone kind of stole some of the spotlight from them. His name is Adam. Going from having a prison record to being a father to Adam has left Hunter clueless. Luckily, he had Tracy to help him. She is kind.
As far as romance goes, there was no movement until more than the half way mark. From there kisses were stolen. The chemistry between these two was sweet. That is exactly how the whole story was...sweet. Kind of like a dash of Debbie Macomber thrown in the mix. This book will get you started in the holiday mood.
