H is for Hawk by Helen Macdonald
4.0
A lot of beautiful prose. Interesting contemplations, especially towards the end. Sometimes, however, I felt the writing was a bit too much, a bit superfluous, a bit redundant, which made it hard to stay focussed. I was (and am) more excited and curious about White and his stories than I was about Helen's own narrative. I will definitely explore some of his works.
