Jenna Evans Welch has a knack for writing such utterly lovely books! I devoured this in a day. While the plot was somewhat predictable, the genuine emotion and characters are what made this a home run for me. Welch's books are familiar, but with enough specificity and character development to make them in a class of their own. This is all one could ask for in a summer read: sweet, easy to read, and filled with heart-tugging, honest emotion.
