Fake Shot by Julia Connors

5.0

Book Two of the Boston Rebels and I loved it!

Jules had a crush on Colt when she was younger, however there is a catch, he is her brothers best friend. Colt never knowing this has always seen her as his best friends sister. There is an age gap between the two. An accident at his home has him shaking up with Jules, which she is not happy with but that is not what brings them together. It is when Jules finds her self in a predicament and Colt just ..... reacts!

Jules is strong and independent. I loved everything she is doing with her business and how she is fore fronting females in the workforce. Colt was respectable and worked with her to find more about her so she was able to open up. They fell in love so naturally, minus the whole "fake engagement" lol.

Slow Burns are not my thing but Julia kept me intrigued the whole time. There was a solid story line that had me pulled in to see what was going to happen and how it was going to play out. This story had banter, the characters where vulnerable and it was very enjoyable to read.
