I went into this knowing little about the book other than a snippet of part of it I saw in an ad - which is why I read it to begin with. It was intense, dark and had me on the edge of my seat at one point. Tessa was put through the most horrific things and still managed to fight. Gracin is someone who is dangerous on many levels, but never wants to hurt Tessa. Their relationship - if you call it that is a whirlwind of crazy and toxic. Their ending felt fast when they finally got back to one another, but I think it ended well after everything they both went through.
