I’m still trying to parse my reaction to this book and in particular the lopsided engagement of each of the sections. I had expected the different points of view to come together at the end, but instead they just trail off. I’m also still trying to understand why one character was made to suffer so much more than the others. Her story was very moving and upsetting, and I remain unsure about its inclusion.
