I forgot how much I love this book. Most of my memories of Charlie's story come from the movie, but reading the book again brought back all the emotions. I had forgotten that it was written through a series of letters to the reader. I love that format when reading a physical book. It was so heartwarming, and all I wanted to do was to hug Charlie throughout the whole book. That guy deserves happiness more than many people I know. Definitely worth the read. I highly recommend this to teens and above, as the exploration of identity and life choices is well-developed and might help more than one person. Do yourself a favor and give this book a shot.
