I absolutely adored this book! If you're looking for a book similar to Life As We Know It (with Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamal), but way better, definitely pick this book up!

In this book we get the grumpy x sunshine trope, he's a major perfection and she's messy, go with the flow. I really loved Colby's character, she was so easy to relate to, and she was so fun and caring. At first I wasn't a huge fan of Rip's character, he was the kind of grumpy character where he's mean to the FMC. I ended up liking him in the end, but at the beginning he was a bit too mean to her for my taste.

This book will take you on a roller coaster of emotions, one minute I was crying, the next I was laughing. I liked the way the author handled the heavy topic that is grief, with still keeping the story light and super heartwarming. The kids were super cute and I loved seeing the interactions between Colby, Rip and the kids. Also, Banks was such a fun side character!

Something that felt a little weird to me was the prologue. It was super unnecessary in my opinion and I could have definitely done without it.

Overall, this was a super cute read and I would highly recommend giving it a shot if you are a romance lover. I'll definitely be checking out more of Rachel Van Dyken's books!
