Describes some of the horrors of a Jew being shuffled from concentration camp to concentration camp, while retaining the desire to survive. Based on a true story. I expected it to have a bit more “story” maybe, but it definitely struck me and i did connect emotionally to Yanek. I feel it is too mature for my k-5 library.
