Honestly there's not much to say about this book tbh. I just found the pacing of the book to be egregiously slow and I don't care to wait that long right now. The writing was very beautiful but eh... doesn't really matter when I don't care for the story.
I also find a few things to be really dumb. Like the fact that the FMC is the goddaughter of death yet she doesn't understand it until later. Also what is with everyone and associating death with something bad... death is apart of life no matter how delulu you wanna be. I sure as hell wouldn't really wanna be immortal and the way the author approaches death and how she depicts the FMC approaches death is just whiney and dumb to me. It's like the 1800s or something... like bruh you don't have modern medicine just give the old lady pain meds and let her die damn... working in the healthcare industry unfortunately it's trained into you that you can't save everyone and you have to be ok with that so maybe I'm just being insensitive but I would rather save the population from a plague than my abusive mom.
I then find out the FMC has this loving boyfriend and the author kills him off to be with a playboy.... A PLAYBOY... how fucking cliche and boring and i hate it and I hate this book and I hate that concept and i just hate.
So, I dropped. I'm getting rid of my copy as I have no desire to pick it back up.
