This was so fun! Preposterous scenario our Alex finds himself in, but if you determinedly suspend disbelief and read it bearing in mind its target audience, it is an exciting, fun spy adventure that had me smiling. I would have wanted there to be a bit more atmosphere and tension, perhaps, and to be inside Alex's skin a bit more closely somehow, but I really enjoyed how proactive and heroic Alex is - and I feel like his highly unrealistic skill set (I was cracking up when
he jumps out of the plane and manages to crash through the very roof of the room he was making for! :D
) is offset by the stupid mistakes he made along the way!
