Where had this book been my entire life? This was everything!! The darkness this book possesses is comforting.
I had no idea where this book was going and I was so glad I went in blind.

But for those of curiosity…
Tess lives a life she’s not truly happy in because she’s always had these dark secrets, but she has a boyfriend Brax, who is there for her and is perfect in every way but one. Brax surprises Tess with a trip to Mexico. There she is kidnapped and beaten, then sold. Tess fights her new master, but is warned to give in and let go, to be submissive. Yet, her new master enables her dark secrets and Tess is consumed with belonging.
(There are some turn in events that I feel will ruin the rest of the book and are best to not know about. Just know this will have your heart burning and aching with darkness and sadness.)
