Deceivingly durable, the surface of the high plains held the marks of man almost as long as the land itself marked those same men.

I don't know how Craig Johnson does it - where one book will hit kind of weak, and then the next one will just slam. This one definitely slammed.

This book was an incredible emotional rollercoaster. I was so happy to see how strongly this one features Henry, who is one of my absolute favorite fictional characters of all time. The showdown with him and Walt in the bar was absolutely amazing.
