Just realized that this is book 11 and not 1 lol! Now it makes sense why the story refers to things that already happened that I knew nothing about. I liked the story; it’s cute and I especially liked the magic cats. However, it is frontloaded with tons of characters, which were hard to keep track of. But they were all really charming and likable in a wholesome sort of way. Kathleen Paulson, the main character, reminds me of Melanie Travis from the Melanie Travis Canine Mysteries. This may be my new series!
