I wasn't really sure what I was getting into when I started Caraval. I kept seeing it on recommended book lists and thought it's be worth a try. I was pleasantly surprised. 

Some twists and turns that weren't expected and some that you could see coming. Overall, not a perfect book, but a very enjoyable read.
