Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally

3.0

Rating: 3.5

I thought the whole premise of this book was cute. Wasn't a fan of Jordan in the beginning of the story, thought she was too guy like and not a little girly. Once I got pass all of her weird mannerism, I wanted to keep reading this book.

I loved the whole triangle relationship between Jordan, Ty and Henry. I was a big fan on Henry and all of her friends from the team. Didn't like Ty, always felt there was something he was hiding and not a genuine person. I liked how Jordan ended up becoming good friends with Carrie and Marie. I think she needed the girl friendships because I saw a little bit of a change with her when they started hanging out more.

Parents in YA can be kind of sketchy at times but I liked her parents. Although her relationship with her dad wasn't perfect I loved her mom. Never gave up on her and always supported her.

Overall a good YA about friends, family and love. Even though the main character is a girl I think with her personality this will also attract boys too.
