I finally finished the Sookie Stackhouse books! It was actually a slog to get through them. This one was an easy read but just flat, like the last books in the series were. At least it gives the backstory of Hadley's death, which really wasn't explained in the main series, so there's a plus. Overall I wouldn't recommend it, but I'm glad I've read the whole series just for the completionist in me!
