Gitanjali
by Rabindranath Tagore
After what I've read people have been saying about this, I must say I got some really fucking high expectations for this book, as everyone wrote they were so moved by it, so on and so forth.
I had only reached a few verses when I found it so beautiful that I had to quote it on facebook. There were many beautiful ones I loved, and it was all so wonderfully written. And all of them were pretty short and sweet, so I read this in no time! And I will probably read it many times more.
Poems aren't particularly a genre I read too much, but are they talented and famous enough, I usually give them a go. Usually I don't regret it, and this was no exception! I loved this a lot, and I'm sure that everyone who appreciates poems will too! It's not long, so give it a try! I'm sure you will be spellbound by your own emotions.
