read this book as an ARC through netgalley in exchange for a review. All opinions and thoughts are my own
I finished this book in 2 days! I was hooked from the beginning to the end. Amber built the world slowly for the reader to fully understand the world of monsters and gods and the different type of creatures living in her world.
I absolutely LOVED that the FMC was a villain and wasn't tried to change by the male main character but instead they have their character developments together throughout their book, towards their goals. Its a true enemies to lovers with forced proximity through their journey.
the story is a slow burn and paced enough so it isn't to fast and that the reader isn't able to keep track of the story. the ending made me physically gasp and i had to reread it for that ending. The total cliffhanger had me shocked and I cant wait for the 2nd book because i need it now
4/5 stars and 2/5 for spice
