Everyone in this story is perfect. The ex- punk parents turned hipster, complete with bow-tied, pipe-smoking dad, who are completely cool with their 17 year old daughter's boyfriend spending the night and drinking at concerts? Nah, this one was not for me, but I can see the appeal.
About 1/3 of this book was a convo with the author, discussion questions, and then a preview of the sequel as if the publishers knew it wasn't quite enough to stand alone. Weird.
