Maven is a social media promoter and while she wants to highlight community works and those giving to the community, her job just got a deal with the Tampa hockey team to follow their rookie star player for one month with 24/7 access. That player is Vince and while he is known as a hotshot player and a party boy, he is swept off his feet by Maven. Maven was hurt in a previous relationship with an athlete so she tries to keep Vince at arms length. But Maven and Vince can't deny their chemistry and get wrapped up in each other. The tension in this book was great. The biggest reason they can't be together is Maven's fear of being hurt again, but it was done so perfectly in this book that it made sense that she had trauma from her previous relationship and not just her pulling back for no reason. This book was very spicy. If you are looking for a spicy, sports romance, this one was perfection!
