I listened to this as an audiobook, and I don't think I reccomend that. Because there are so many characters, and so many of them have family names, it's really hard to follow without being able to easily go back and review. I felt like I needed a family tree the whole time to reference. Also, it's non-linear timeline made things a bit confusing in the audio version. A big grotesque at times as well, but not a bad book per say, just not my favorite.
