Honestly despite slaving away writing an essay about it I was just struck with such affection for this poem, because damn, it is like...perfect. So many cyclical elements...so much wit...so many hidden meanings that my dumb ass wouldn't have known about if I hadn't learned about in three (3) separate classes and enjoyed it each time...Gawain being so Suave while also being so Dead Inside...and the iconic moment where everyone is dead silent when the Green Knight enters at the beginning...beautiful.
