An Academy for Liars by Alexis Henderson

The topics brought up in this story such as persuation, manipulation, empathy, etc... are great. I loved how it made me go outside the book to dive deeper into the topics. I loved the atmosphere of the dark emotions and the different schools and even the dark images and reflections. It brought up mental illness, and other taboo topics and I appreciated that.
However, the things I really liked about the book is also what let me down a little bit. I would have loved for the story to have went deeper with everything. I wanted to see more character growth and know more about them. I wanted more of the school and why they are doing what they are. Each part of the story gave me a just a little and I was wanting more from it.
I would give it a go for a little vibe but mostly for introduction of some topics that are very relivant today such as influencing people, manipulation and so forth.
