I really loved this. It's part mystery, part sci-fi adventure but also feels very current in its discussion on fame and the internet. It hooked me from the beginning and I felt so invested in April and her life. She's a great main character, who despite often making bad decisions, remains sympathetic throughout. I also loved the rest of the characters and I enjoyed the writing style a lot.
I re-read it on audiobook in preparation for the release of the sequel and I loved it just as much the second time round.

Moderate: Gore and Violence
There is one scene of gore but a content warning is given by the narrator beforehand.
