This was a fun and fast horror novella. The horror doesn’t take up much of the novel, but when it does come around it’s very engaging. The best part of this book is the characters and writing. T. Kingfishers writing style is great, and Easton’s character shines through every sentence. It was so nice seeing Easton, Angus, and Miss Potter again, and the widow was a great addition as well. So much fun! But not very horror.
