A Reaper at the Gates
by Sabaa Tahir
A somewhat weaker entry in the series, largely because it had a lot of plot points to cover and not as much of the characterization that made the other books so good. It waxes and wanes in a way that made it long to get through, but once you get beyond certain points (thankfully one at the end of the book) it goes quickly. I still want to know what happens next, which is a good sign.
