Immediately reminiscent of Stephen King's A Good Marriage, definitely one of the gorier of Karin Slaughter's oeuvre. A good conspiracy, fear of who can be trusted, a villain who seems all-knowing and inescapable. Satisfying ending, though honestly I would have liked more detail about the criminal proceedings after all is revealed.
