I enjoyed it! It actually brought me out of my agonizing reading slump. I loved the powers in this, called a Grace, they were immensely exciting and substantial as fuck although not unique. I enjoyed the bonds and friendships, the insane scene of survival during a grueling snowstorm in the mountains. (I'm always a sucker for survival settings) I liked the main character; her determination for her independence and integrity, her power and conflict to be someone, to love someone and trust someone, and finding herself through tough times. But most of all I loved the romance in this. It was intriguing and thrilling from the start and then the friendship happened with just the right amount of tension. Then it progressed and became this very soft loving bond that had me giddy. Giggling and smiling the whole nine yards. I loved Po, he was kind, thoughtful, respected boundaries, and had humor. I loved him and wished to know him more.

Now the negatives, I didn't like the way Katsa was so prone to anger spouts and practically “hulk SMASH” every chance but I could understand it. I just wish we would have seen some growth in that area cause it was....
