The prose in this work takes the spotlight. I found this to be an enjoyable and engaging read. The prose really captured my attention without taking away from the philosophical musings and questions posed by the novel. In fact, I found that the writing made me more receptive to these ideas. It's certainly effective.
It did take a bit of time to get into the flow of reading, and trying to located which part of the story I was in, but that's just the nature of non-linear writing. Overall, I enjoyed this work and would like to revisit it, armed with sticky notes and pencils for more annotation.
