One of my favourite books of all time. Contrary to some of the other reviewers, I wish it had been even longer! I was savouring every last word.
Lou was such a pioneer. I'm in awe of how genuine he was and how he listened to himself despite getting backlash sometimes.
It's also really heartwarming to read about how supportive his family was.
My only criticism of this book is that the diary entries have no dates. It made it impossible to get a good grasp on the timeline of events. I wish that the editors would release another version one day that contains the dates of the entries!
