What a freaking ride! Catherine has ended this series with a mic drop. I absolutely loved grumpy, alpha hero Lawson and his guarded nanny Hallie in this suspenseful story. Lawson's boys were adorable and the way they instantly bonded with Hallie? Ughhh, I ate the entire story without putting it down!
This couple had such an emotional journey. You could feel the character's chemistry as you read and when they collided, it was explosive. Hallie is one of the strongest FMCs in my opinion. Despite what happened to her, she didn't let it harden her. The way Lawson helped her through everything and the way he and his boys loved her, was such a beautiful thing to see.
This one might be my favorite out of them all.
The family dynamics and the support they all give each other is how it's supposed to be and I love the way Catherine writes them all in her books.
I'm so sad that it's over because I'll miss them all, but this was an amazing way to end the series!
