What an incredibly dark, powerful, heartbreaking story. This is my third book by Tiffany D. Jackson, and she doesn't pull punches in her writing - I am always amazed at the power of her stories, and her ability to make us love these characters. Hands down one of my favourite YA authors. There is so much strength and hope in amongst the difficult issues these characters face; Claudia and Monday were both amazing characters to read about.
