Jay Kristoff is a master storyteller, there's no doubt about it. I love the writing in this book but most of all I adore all the flawed, imperfect characters and the story he weaves around them. For me, Kristoff also mastered the ending of the series beautifully and I found myself thrilled with how everything finished. Absolutely a recommended read!
