This book was so emotional! It doesnโt add much in terms of story, because itโs basically everything that happened in the two previous books but in Lilyโs and Loโs pov. Still, it was such an interesting book.
For me, itโs with this book that we finally start to see Lily and Lo recovering. We still have a few fallouts, but itโs the first time where it happens and I feel like the characters are devastated because they failed. Itโs the first time where I see them both want to get better, want to be better. It made my heart so full and happy to see this evolution.
Being in Loโs head also made me understand a little bit better what he felt towards Ryke in the last book. It was something that made struggle with โHothouse Flowerโ because it felt he didnโt want Ryke to be happy, but now I understand his intentions in saying what he said and the battle that was in his head.
Iโm so happy that Lily is getting stronger. She is talking more, she is more at ease and she is happy which is what she deserves.
The end of this book brought a challenge and one side of the coin that even I didnโt think about. I can already predict that it wonโt be easy for any of the characters involved, but it also left me excited for the last Lily and Loโs book.
