This is one of the rare times that I watched the movie (albeit once and forever ago) before I read the book....and actually like the movie more over the book.
I remember watching this and SOBBING and I was so mad that no one had warned me about it, hmm maybe that's when I started to try to always read the book before seeing the movie. I'm not sure if it was the book, the multiple POV's or just the narrator that didn't sit well with me.
Good story but just middle of the road for me.
