This book is beautiful.
I devoured it in days, it gripped me from the start. The characters remained lovable through their flaws (of which they had many to work through) and the story itself draws the reader in immediately.
I first was drawn to this book because I loved the author's other popular work, The House by the Cerulean Sea, and I assumed this would be just as good (I was right). Also, this book heavily features ghosts, and even has elements of horror, though this is not the focus of the book. What stands out are the relationships that are formed throughout and how the relationships we have in life can help shape us.
