Devil Bones
by Kathy Reichs
Another engaging fluff read. Yes, some of the conversation is terrible/cliche, but it's some levity in an otherwise pretty grim book. I appreciate how Reichs always researches her material, and uses so much science (though one thing I don't appreciate as much is how she over-explains some terms in conversations to cops... but doesn't make it consistent. It's an odd thing, but she does this over and over -- the cops seem to understand really high-level science stuff, but not more basic words).
Anyway, solid, and an appropriately-timed book about fear mongering and the consequences it can have.
