I honestly don’t know why this is all over TikTok as being a “must-read”.
I would have absolutely loved this as a teenager but it felt very juvenile- which makes sense since it’s YA. And no shade on that, I’m just not the target audience.
Also, are vampires a really necessary addition to the plot??
There was no character development. Evangeline was so frustratingly naive and I wanted to roll my eyes at her for the majority of the book.
Will I read the sequel? Yes. Because I already bought it on kindle and at least the writing was terrible.
